I have been teching ESL for eigth years and Family Literacy for one year. Iteach ESL at our local Adult Ed Center and also at our county correctional faciity. The Family Lit. class is also at the correctional facility. I am currectly going to graduate school(Penn State) for my Master of Adult ED. degree. I am a mother of eight, six boys and two girls. My children's age range is 8yrs. to 28yrs. I am very concerned about racism and have beeb all my life. Oh, did I mention that I am a beautiful African American women:-). My concern about racism just doesn't revolve around African Americans but for all. I see and hear some of the trials the students in my ESL class endure. I would like to help each and every one. My boss says I think I can save everyone.
