Nancy, I send and receive everything text only (using Pine format), so
there are no icons on my screen when I am in email.  When I get a blank
message, there is absolutely nothing below the subject line.  Thanks for
trying to help, though! Your suggestion may very well work for others.

I've just been talking with our tech person, Limin Mu, and he suggests
that Mime users and whoever sends things that are HTML formatted also
include a copy in plain text.  Apparently using plain text will assure
that everyone gets the post, but those of us using a plain text email
account don't always receive the other formats.
