Thanks, Jeff.  I do open and use attachments all the time, so that
wouldn't be a problem.  Some do come through that I have to "open" and it
says in the message space that there is something attached when that is
the case. These ones I'm not getting have absolutely nothing else there,
i.e., there is nothing to open.  These are all good suggestions, though,
and may work for someone.  Those of us having the problem will just have
to try each suggestion when the next blank message comes to us to see what
works for us.  I'm thinking there isn't just one right answer that will
work for us all.
