Hi Michael Tate,

Maybe you've noticed that we have been having a discussion about why some
messages come through blank for some of us on the list but not for
everyone on the list. It is a mystery with many clues, and I am trying to
do some sleuthing to gather more clues. This message of yours just came
through completely blank in my email. All I got was the heading. When I
chose "respond" to the message, I asked that the message be included, and
as you can see, there was nothing there to include.

Could you tell us what email server you are using? Does it automatically
do HTML tagging to your message? Is it in Mime format? These are all
things that have been suggested as culprits in the missing message
mystery.

As for the suggestion that I try "V" and then "S" in my Pine format, I did
that, and got the message from Pine that said "Malformed message. Missing
parameter". Still no message content.

I also see message #123 from Laura Chenven that tells how she successfully
opened Michael's message when it also came through blank to her. I don't
have a "File" option to try in Pine, so what worked for her will not work
for me.

So Michael, please add to our clues by telling us how you composed and
sent your email, and let's see if that provides any additional clues. In
the meantime, I'll go to the archived messages to read what you shared.
Thanks!
