For example, in the beginning there was apparently not much emphasis on bridging to higher level occupational and college levels. As time went on, it grew to emphasize this. I will pass on your message to Andres and get a copy of the portfolio framework to share with everyone. I can post it to a website. One thing I did not address is the amount of tutor training that goes on in this program, beginning with a philosophical understanding of why assessment is done this way. In fact, every Friday no classes are held and teacher training, small group discussions about particular classes, and group meetings with program leaders takes place. I cannot emphasize how important this is. One of the goals of the Tool Kit is to create a model that can be used in other communities to create one for their community. The web is envisioned as the means of disseminating the Tool Kit. The person working on it is Celia (Esparza) Madrid; I can ask her to make a few comments on how she is going about it for the list readers. Kathleen Bombach
