The 1-1/2-day workshop will speak to the challenge of being truly student- and community-centered, explore implications for tutor training, and provide resources and tools to assess your organization's cultural competence. The pre-conference includes a Tuesday evening meal at a neighborhood center with cultural sharing among participants and members of the San Diego literacy community.
