Many literacy program publish their own newsletters, where learners are the
primary writers and contributors. Check out local literacy programs - in CA,
many of the literacy programs may have theirs online. Project Read's
newsletter is one - you can get to it through projectread@sfpl.org.

I am looking for information on community newspapers or other publications
that are at least in part written by people in literacy programs. In other
words, publications that teach people in literacy programs to write news and
feature stories and personal essays.
