Taylor,

The NLA archives were pulled off the NIFL Discussion board a couple
months back, shortly after David Rosen closed the list in March. As you
might have gathered from Sandra Baxter's message, the NLA archives were
pulled from the NIFL discussion page because (b), the NLA was never a
NIFL site and (b) the extent of the lobbying on the NLA throughout raised
insurmountable problems in terms of how the anti-lobbying law was being
interpreted. NLA archives going back to 2001 are preserved at the
LiteracyTent site. The NLA archives going back to 1997 are available in
their raw form, but I don't have access here to those web sites.

For a good review of a broad range of critical issues related to the list
controversy, check out the 2003 AAPLD archives that you can access at
http://literacy.nifl.gov/lincs/discussions/nifl-aalpd/aalpd.html

Hope this helps.

George
