Managing Editor Teaching Tolerance Full time Teaching Tolerance, winner of the EdPress Golden Lamp and an Academy Award for Short Documentary, is seeking a full-time managing editor for its print and online publications, including the semiannual Teaching Tolerance magazine and its website, www.teachingtolerance.org. The principal responsibilities of the position are to oversee production of print and online editorial content and to manage day-to-day operations of the project. Specific duties include: * Coordinating editorial and design aspects of production scheduling; * Maintaining ongoing relationship with freelance writers and developing new freelance contacts; * Overseeing research and production files; participating in editorial "round-robin" for all publications; and * Miscellaneous duties as assigned by director.
