Can someone refer me to a recent study or (up-to-date) statistic on what percentage of women use literacy services or are enrolled in literacy programs? I have 60% in my head - but don't think that's correct. As I recall, 1992 NALS covers % or women and their literacy levels, but I want to know how many women are actually using literacy services relative to men. I'm specifically looking for women in programs as compared to men...AND (if possible) how many women enrolled as compared to how many COULD use the services or are sitting on waiting lists. thanks.
