Agreed! It seems that many communities have opened their doors to the
displaced. Here in El Paso, they have had nothing but praise for the
support, that they received. Most stayed at the convention center for a
couple of nights and found housing right away.

On a positive note, some corporations are giving money to help the
evacuees. 
For example, Dell Computer in Austin has given 5 milliion for the
evacuees 
who are in Austin.  I believe other Austin corporations have helped
too, but 
Dell is the only one I can remember at the moment.  The evacuees in
Austin 
have had nothing but praise for the treatment and help they have
received.
