Critical issues/technology

The most critical issue is access. Access to all students, on all levels of
profieciency is important. Access means financing as well as security for
computers, etc. Many adult classes are in locations where security is an
issue.
Another critical issue is the training of teachers to use technology as part
of their instructional program. I see technology as part of the training of
all adult education teachers.

Role of technology - I see technology taking adult education to greater
intgegration of preparation of skills need for the workplace and general
education . I also see it bringing language instruction to a new and
different level. Some of the new programs are excellent, including the ones
for pronounciation.
