Carol,
Your question is also of interest to me. I teach high school in a small
rural prison in Delaware.  Graduation standards are increasing next year in
Delaware, and all graduates will be required to have a credit in "computer
literacy". We are in the process of understanding what that will mean.
Please share your responses, should they come privately.
