For those of you who have been asking about the Net Cards I now have a web
page to explain what net cards are and how to order them. Please go to
http://nsn.nslsilus.org/wkkhome/adult and then click on Net Cards in the
table.
Our learners here at the Adult Learning Center really enjoy using the cards.
Each card points to a web site URL and then has several activities to
complete. It's like a mini Internet lesson on a card. Net Cards help learners
to use the Internet semi-independently and independently. They provide a
positive, focussed Internet experience in conjunction with additional
activities. The Lake County Literacy Program is very excited to offer Net
Cards for purchase.
