I thought the list would be interested in finding out more about an 
interesting new assistive technology. The Reading Pen is a totally portable 
battery-powered techonology that helps individuals that need assistance 
reading certain words in print. It scans a word, recognizes a word, displays 
it on its screen in large print,speaks the word aloud, and provides the 
definition with one push of a button (200,000 word collegiate dictionary).
