Two or three years ago, the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and
Training Administration conducted a very similar survey of the 600+ Service
Delivery Areas (SDAs). It should be possible for you to get a copy of that
instrument as well as the report summarizing the results. It was part of
what was then known as the "Capacity Building" initiative. I believe it was
conducted by the DC firm TATC and that the ETA project officer was Dolores
Beran-Hall (202-219-6236 ext. 149). If you have trouble getting copies,
give me a call.

Hello everyone,

Has anyone ever administeerd a technology survey to adult educators that
asseses what they have in terms of computer hardware, software, and
Internet access ? I am working on a project that will provide adult
educators with the technical support needed to develop their own Web
sites. These Web sites would be designed so that adults with limited
skills could find out information about the GED and Basic Skills
services that are offered in the Richmond, Va area. Thanks.
