Two types of resources are now available: workplace basic skills instructional materials for students (LitLearner (sm)) and professional development resources for adult literacy practitioners (LitTeacher ®). PBS LiteracyLink offers high quality resources for adult learners. The cornerstone of the project is Workplace Essential Skills, a new pre-GED level series that teaches the reading, writing, math, and communication skills that are necessary for success on the job. The online components are made up of instructional units that are freely available to learners. There is a fee, however, for instructors to access the class and learner data.
