Reader Rabbit is a very straight forward Kids oriented software, I believe
that it even has a tool for tracking growth. Just let your student play with
it. It is easy to navigate. If your student is having problems, be prepared
to provide some guidance suggesting the next place to click by pointing at
it with your finger. I would not put too much academic emphasis in the
beginning. Just let your student have fun and gradually begin to make more
academic suggestions.
I hope this helps.

Be well and good luck,

Help! Has anyone ever used the Reader rabbit 3 software with their students,
or students with special needs? I am trying to use it with a slightly
retarded student, since he doesn't have understand sentence structure very
well. But I'm not sure how I should go about it, how I can use it more
effectively. Give me your suggestions, please. Thanks.
