My site is at Goodwill where we have Three ESL classrooms and one ABE/GED classroom. We are implementing a grant to develop two-way interactive video distance learning for adult education students. We will be installing the D/L room with the next two months and begin programming in March or April. As soon as we can get internet access for our computers we want to develop a mix of Web based activities and live and on demand programming on the video distance learning network. That network in Indiana is called Vision Athena. We are the first adult education program to be awarded a grant to be a content provider on this network which calls for us not only to develop programming but to facilitate programming among our partners aimed at our targeted adult education audiences. Needless to say I am very excited about this new venture for us and our learners.
