Teknimedia Corporation is conducting a survey to gather information about the knowledge and skills necessary for working effectively and efficiently with the computer’s filing system. With much of today’s computer training focused on specific software applications, the underlying filing system of the computer appears to be a somewhat neglected area of training. We are interested in your assessment of the general level of computer file management skills demonstrated by your teachers and students and the specific concepts and skills which give them the most problems. The results of our survey will be presented at the upcoming NECC conference in Atlanta during Teknimedia’s concurrent session entitled "Help! Where did my file go? I can’t find it!" Survey results will be presented in numerical form and any anecdotes or comments shared will be reported without attribution. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
