Hi, techno friends

I just wanted to offer a note on the Heide's and Heidi's on the list (one of
each, I think, but more may be lurking)

Heidi Watson is "Heidi" - with an "i" at the end, pronounced Hai-dee, like
the little girl with the braids and the grandfather in the Alps -

Heide Wrigley- is Heide with an "e" at the end and very much a different
name, at least in Germany where it means "heather" , and is pronounced
"Haiduh" as in "Hi, duh" !

And sorry, if I sounded a tad pedantic; I thought you might rather know,
than not, since I'm not sure how Heidi Watson feels about her name being
spelled right . By the way, I don't care all that much if you call me Heidi
(though I'm not too crazy of  hearing "Howdy, Heidi" );

At any rate, we'll both be at the lunch - see you there, Heidi

Cheers

Heide

Hello List:

Our lunch is on for Thursday at ALT. Thanks to Heide Watson, the moderator
of the NIFL Workplace Literacy List, who volunteered to scout out some
tables for us and make signs. Lunch is from 12:15 - 1:15. We will be meeting
in the general lunch area for the conference, just look for Heide's signs. I
look forward to seeing you there!

Has a restaurant been chosen and a time. My co-presenter and I would like to

attend.
