This training took place in Brattleboro, Vermont, July 30 - August 4. What I wanted to announce today is that the official "Spiders at Work" Web site is now up online. This Web site is designed to be a connecting point for our training participants, and also as a way to provide the literacy community and the general public on our progress. (These folks are now developing final prototypes of their projects.) <http://hub1.worlded.org/spiders/> The Web Camp has been a partnership between the Literacy Assistance Center of New York City, the New England Literacy Resource Center at World Education, Boston's Adult Literacy Resource Institute, and Vermont Adult Learning, and others. It's really been a great example, I think, of true multi-state collaboration among several agencies -- and with practitioners at the core. On behalf of the project sponsors, Jeff Jeff Carter NELRC/World Education (617) 482-9485 jcarter@worlded.org
