The Spiders at Work web site is a great resource. The list of participant projects is impressive. The projects will add significantly to the amount of web content available for adults at low literacy levels. Folks who are interested should browse through Steve Quann's project (the only one online at this point). It is an online instructional supplement to The Change Agent newspaper (a newspaper on civic and social issues for adult learners). Steve has developed interactive quizzes, reading comprehension and vocabulary development activities to go along with selected articles. Please keep us posted, Jeff, as the other projects come online.
