LINCS System administrators sent me the following message: "It's not NIFL (list server). It's the way some mail servers are configured to send out email. The NIFL list server is not modifying the mail in anyway, just redistributing it". Also, if you look at the list archive at: http://www.nifl.gov/nifl-technology/2000/ <http://www.nifl.gov/nifl-technology/2000/> you won't find any blank messages. List archives are great for checking messages that you don't receive because of your email configurations. The archives are updated almost hourly. I got BOTH your emails in both venues. Yet MINE came to the NIFL blank?? Is THAT what you are saying? --- end of quote --- Nancy et alia -- I'm not sure what the technical glitch is. I suspect there is something in the NIFL program that handles the list serv. I'm sending this message in plain text...I've already sent one in MIME. I am on several list servs through NIFL and other venues. The only list serv that results in blank pages is through NIFL. Although I might add that most messages through NIFL do get through. I have experienced the blank page syndrome with other organizations unless I use plain text. Gremlins at work! Walter DHMC
