With one free service, I immediately received repeated banner headlines to gambling. This worried me as many low-income people hope for a quick fix and are very vulnerable. Ajit recommended Altavista as good free web service. It at least starts without objectionable lures. I downloaded and recommended this service to students. I alerted students and their families to the dangers. I am be doing classes on advertisements to make students more sophisticated e.g. students love to make commercials and tape them into a laptop. Then the class listens to the tape and rates the commercials using a simple rubric. Its a lot of fun and builds understanding. Good luck with your project. Mary Maloney
