Last month, Susan Gaer, of Santa Ana College School of Continuing Education
and an early innovater in using the Internet in ABE, was the plenary speaker
at the Orange County CATESL conference. She and a group of colleagues, who
have dubbed themselves the "Web Rangers," helped participants develop
web-based lesson plans for adult, elementary and secondary ed. The lesson
plans, handouts and links are all online at:
http://home.earthlink.net/~sgaer/occatesol

Don't miss the "Visited Links" page. It is a valuable collection of links to
primary source material, student publishing projects, consumer and
employment research resources and web-based authoring tools for teachers.

Best,

Emily
