Hello List:

Last week I announced that language learning and technology specialist Mark
Warschauer will be joining us on the list for a two week period in February.
There are several possible ways to structure the discussion. We can repeat
the process we used with John Fleishman in which questions were collected
and sent to John to respond to as a whole. Alternatively, Mark can simply
join the list for two weeks for a more spontaneous dialogue or we can pick
one of his articles to read and discuss. Maybe someone has another
suggestion altogether.

Mark has done a significant amount of research on language learning and
technology which you can see by visiting his web site:
 http://www.lll.hawaii.edu/web/faculty/markw/

I would really appreciate some feedback on how you would like to proceed so
we can make the most out of this opportunity. Please post your input to the
list.

Thank you.

--Emily
