Hello List,
I am working on a project to develop a Practitioner Handbook that will look
at how to integrate the teaching and learning of essential commication
skills and computer skills (word processing & spreadsheets) in the
workplace. The following examples of learning activities illustrate the
integration:
-Students develop writing and word processing skills as they write memos,
letters and learn about email.
- Students develop numeracy skills as they create spreadsheets to chart
their piecework earnings.
I would like to know if there has been any research done to show how
day-to-day jobs and their skill requirements have been changed by the
introduction of new technology.

Thanks,
Ann
