Several weeks ago, Emily posted the needs assessment for the Technology
Training Special Collection. I'd like to thank all of you who responded
and provide some feedback on the results. A total of 48 people responded.
1. Of those responding, more than half (27) were not familiar with the
Technology Training Special Collection.
2. 45 people responded that they would use the collection, instead of
conducting their own keyword searches
3. Very few resources were proposed for us to review. Those resources
were:
	TV411, KET, PBS Literacy Link
	TV411, KET, PBS Literacy
	 http://cie.ci.swt.edu/interalt
	www.alri.org/uk.html
	Technology Toolkit (Brooklyn Public Library)
	http://literacy.kent.edu/Oasis/Workshops/index.html
Those resources are out for review by the Core Knowledge Group now. As
you come across additional resources, please send me the reference at
eader@scoe.net.
4. People would like to see the resources for the collection displayed by
type of technology, subject matter, and instructional use. We will be
working on how to do that.
5. 43 people thought that it would be useful to see relevant threads from
the discussion group summarized and posted on the site. Emily and I will
work on how to do this.

Again, thanks for your help and please contact me with additional
suggestions.

Elaine
