Readers with expertise in technology and education will evaluate grant applications according to established rating criteria, interacting by email and conference call. The CTC program is designed to increase access to information technology and educational services for adults and children in economically distressed urban and rural communities. Grants can establish or expand community technology centers. Prospective field readers must contact us by April 15. See http://ocfo.ed.gov/fedreg/announce.htm for details. ==================================================================== I think this is an important opportunity for adult educators to be represented in the group of proposal readers, and for those who do so to learn more about this important technology initiative. If you aren't an applicant for a CTC grant, consider applying to be a reader. David J. Rosen
