For the sake of specificity, a posting in the past couple of days from Elsa Auerbach had an attachment that didn't downloaded; no message said it hadn't downloaded but DONE was just about all I got. I can recall postings from Heide Spruck Wrigley that said something about MIME (MINE?) format that wouldn't download, and it didn't. Postings by Steve Lindberg (among others) always download; the download window describes them as .txt files.
