Position Announcement Instructional Design Specialist (Web-Based) NCFL seeks a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with proven management skills for an Instructional Design Specialist position with an innovative, national non profit organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Knowledge Development and Innovation, the Instructional Design Specialist will be responsible for developing Web-delivered training and instruction of family literacy content. The position will require working closely with NCFL subject matter experts, IT division staff, external partners, funders and vendors. Assignments include: planning, producing and evaluating Web-based instructional training and related materials in collaboration with NCFL subject matter experts and other staff; managing Web-based instructional design projects; coordinating internal and external resources to maximize Internet instructional capabilities. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years experience in developing and designing Web-based instructional training and/or materials, preferably in education. Experience managing Web-based projects. Qualified candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a team-oriented working style. Bachelor’s degree in instructional technologies, instructional design or related area is required; graduate degree is preferred.
