I'm not as certain about software as I am about some book tools that can
help him or help you help him. I have had extremely good results using
these two books: 1) How to Use a Dictionary isbn:1-58460-007-1 and 2) Study
Skills for Life. The publisher is Effective Education Publishing: 7060
Hollywood Blvd, Suite 200 LA, CA 90028. There probably is a contact closer
to you, e-mai me separate from the list and I can check out the back of my
books for that information.

Subject: [NIFL-TECHNOLOGY:2199] 3rd grade esl/reading/math

Hi. My gym trainer's son is in third grade and is having trouble reading and
doing math word problems. He has trouble concentrating etc. He will be
tested for ADD etc. soon. He does like computers though and seems good with
them.

Can anyone recommend software that will help him at a 2nd/3rd grade level
for reading and or math, or websites?

He is from Russia and has lived in the states for 5 years.

Thanks for any help.

Tommy
