Just a friendly warning: Before you order any of the software, call and
make sure it is compatible with your system. We lost most of these kinds of
software applications when Window 2000 was installed. Most companies are
responding with upgrade and have also left their "older" versions in their
catalogs. Ask the right questions or buyer beware.

Learning Company's stuff is usually great
I really like the JumpStart series for kids: Baby (!) through sixth grade
levels. Fun but good content. @ $30.00 per level
The new Leap Pads are also engaging. There are two versions: a stand alone
at @ $45 where you just buy (expensive $15.00) books or the Online version @
$99 that also comes with a six-month subscription to the website where you
can download content and worksheets. (Interent access required).
Check all of these out at Toys R Us or Zany Brainy.
