Jan and others, Jerome Johnston, Leslie Petty, Shannon Young, and I
are preparing a monograph to address these very issues. The research
and monograph were funded by OVAE of the US Dept. of Education; it
will be published by NCSALL (National Center on Adult Learning and
Literacy at Harvard). The title is "Expanding Access in Adult
Literacy with Web-Based Instruction." We have one chapter
specifically on Australia, based on my research during my sabbatical
leave last year. We are just now finishing up the chapters and will
be sending it out for review later this summer. We hope for
publication some time next year. We would love to include any
information that you are able to gather so we hope that you will
share your findings on this list. Thanks. Nickie Askov
