Hello Sylvan, and others,

Here are some family literacy and early childhood education resources:

The learning Ladder -- a free, online reading and writing curriculum for
early childhood educators ("workplace literacy" for early childhood
educators) -- with bridge activities in each module for how to help
parents enhance childrens' literacy at home.

	http://www.learningladder.org

Once there, you will need to e-mail the Child Care Careers institute for
a password (free). Also, a modification of this -- for family child
care providers -- is being developed now.

Also, check out the family center on e-square, an electronic village of
adult learners online.

Please let me know if you find these useful.

Thanks,

David
