Same here. Except the default app to open Mp3 files on my PC is Windows
Media Player.

BTW, I don't believe there is much to be gained by "zipping" or
otherwise compressing an Mp3 file, because an Mp3 file  is already about
as compressed as it can get. In this case, for example, I think zipping
the file compressed it by only another 20k.

Moreover, I think some browsers are configured to hand off an Mp3 link
to Windows Media Plyer or Quicktime on the fly...
