HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Anyone can view the Online Exchange and download attached files. However, to
post your own messages you must "join" (by clicking on "join" in the upper
right-hand corner of the page). When you join you will be emailed a
temporary password (usually within a couple of minutes) that you can use to
access this and all future Online Exchanges.

WHAT IS THE ONLINE EXCHANGE?
We call our message board forum the Online Exchange. We host Exchanges on a
regular basis. Each one focuses on a different topic that our users have
told us is important to them. The Exchanges include experts working at the
local and national level and give our users the opportunity to exchange
resources, ideas, curricula, and more.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE RESOURCES AFTER June 13TH?
The resources will remain on Contentbank indefinitely. In addition, we will
post a summary of the Exchange and highlight the best resources in other
areas of Contentbank.

WHAT IS CONTENTBANK?
Contentbank is a project of The Children's Partnership,
http://www.childrenspartnership.org, a national nonprofit child advocacy
organization, with generous support from the Markle Foundation and the AOL
Time Warner Foundation.

Contentbank has three major goals:

*To identify what online content low-income users want, examples of what
exists, and what still needs to be created;
*To make it easier for community-based organizations and the individuals
they serve to create their own content; and
*To encourage the public and private sectors to develop usable content for
low-income and underserved Americans.

WHAT IS THE CHILDRENšS PARTNERSHIP?
The Children's Partnership (www.childrenspartnership.org) is a national,
nonprofit organization that undertakes research, analysis, and advocacy to
place the needs of America's nearly 70 million children and youth,
particularly the underserved, at the forefront of emerging policy debates.
