Two new courses are now available online toward the Certificate in Family Literacy sponsored by Penn State's Goodling Institute for Research in Family Literacy in partnership with the National Center for Family Literacy and Penn State's World Campus. The Introduction to Family Literacy (ADTED 497A, taught by Donna Bell at NCFL) will be offered for the second time this fall. Adult Literacy (ADTED 497B, taught by Sheila Sherow of the Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy at Penn State) will be offered for the first time. The Introduction to Adult Education (ADTED 460) is available every semester as part of Penn State's M.Ed. in Adult Education. Please check out the program (http://www.worldcampus.psu.edu/pub/famlt/)! Courses in the 15-credit certificate may be applied to a bachelor's or master's degree program. Tuition is priced as low as possible (at the PA residential rate).
