My students enjoyed this site although the process did not present in
depth information on the candidates positions.

MSN Slate's Whack a Pol <http://slate.msn.com/id/2090855/>

We have also used two of the other sites you mentioned. They are useful
for getting students involved in the election process.

By my count, there are at least four different election year
decision-making tools now available on the Web -- tools that help users
decide which candidates are most likely to support or reflect their
views. It would be interesting to know if any learners or teachers are
using any of these. (Here's an idea: Take all four quizzes. How do they
compare? Did you get the same results for each one?) I haven't taken a
close enough look to even take a guess at reading level or ease of use
or any other issues like that -- perhaps someone else might have an
opinion?

As usual, I've posted this to our blog as well; I encourage you to post
comments there if you prefer.
