I have a 23 page list of my own (free and commercial) software recommendations for adult basic education/literacy/ESOL programs I would be happy to send you that with two conditions: 1. Please don't disseminate it. I am in the process of updating it and don't want old copies circulating. 2. let me know if you think an important piece of software is missing. This list gets better as teachers let me know about software they find useful.
