Two items in particular stand out: "Integrating technology into adult literacy tutor training" and "Integrating technology into the Adult Basic Education classroom (not GED level, but more basic)" For the past week or so a very dynamic discussion has been taking place on the NIFL Association of Adult Literacy Professional Developers (AALPD) list relating to technology integration. Moderator Jackie Taylor posted a link to a doctoral dissertation by Elizabeth Dillon-Marable (see link below) on how "computer technology integration is manifested in Adult Basic Skills Education." The question posed on the AALPD list which I pose now is: When we say "technology integration" what exactly do we mean? What does this look like for some of you and how is manifest in our classroom?
