Hello All,
I wanted to bring your attention to a unique web-based resource, Talk to Us
found at http://www.talktous.org/portal/

This web site is a global video forum and includes a collection of short
Quicktime videos submitted from individuals from around the world (many in
english and those in other languages include sub-titles). This could be a
great tool for stimulating classroom conversation on the impact of U.S.
policies on people in other parts of the world.

Please continue to send in resources related to voter and civic
participation. Are there any resources you can share that would be a useful
way to engage non-citizens in this country (many of our ESOL students) in
these important issues?

Regards,
Mariann
