==========================
Good morning, afternoon, and evening to you all,

The Assessment Discussion List is offering a series of guests for you to
have discussion with and pose questions to. All the guests have
expertise in various areas of assessment processes and tools. Guests
will join myself, the moderator, on the list for one week intervals. We
will suggest that you take a look at certain background materials before
each guest's appearance. If you have suggestions for either a guest or
for a particular assessment topic (I can search out someone with
expertise in that area), please do not hesitate to send me that
information. Here is the schedule to date:

November
8th thru 12th: Equipped for the Future (EFF), with Peggy McGuire,
Senior Research Associate, Center for Literacy Studies, University of
Tennessee.

17th thru 23rd: Disability Accommodations in ABE, with Patti White,
Disabilities Project Manager for the Arkansas Adult Learning Resource
Center, and Arkansas Hub Project Coordinator for the National Institute
for Literacy's "Bridges to Practice" training project.

December
6th thru 10th: CASAS, with Jane Equez, Director of Development and
Certified Trainer, CASAS, San Diego, CA.

13th thru 17th: Test Development and Administration, with April
Zenisky, Director of Computer-Based Testing Initiatives, and ABE Test
Developer, Center for Educational Assessment, University of
Massachusetts at Amherst.

Please let me know if you have suggestions for either topics or guests!!

Thanks!
