Instructor-Facilitated Instructors facilitate learners’ effective use of computer technology in the classroom. We have said that computer technology should be tied to program and learner goals. Obviously, this necessitates a certain amount of planning and teacher-control over computer-based activities. Earlier in this discussion, a question was posed about the challenges to achieving computer technology integration. We talked about technical glitches, using the appropriate infrastructures, dealing with peripherals, finding the resources necessary to keep up with technology updates, and the value of giving students unstructured time on the computer as opposed to making sure that every activity is properly controlled/structured. So, for this last question, please share any of the following: - your most successful experience in facilitating / managing learners’ effective use of computer technology, - the biggest surprise you experienced in facilitating/managing learner’s effective use of computer technology - your beliefs about the value of giving learners some unstructured use of computer technology in addition to more structured activities - the most difficult challenge you faced in facilitating / managing learners’ effective use of computer technology, - what you did to resolve those challenges. - what resources you need to resolve the challenges you were unable to resolve Thanks, Liz __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
