I found Steve Quann's use of a blog with his students particularly
interesting as I have just started to experiment with one for my
classroom itself. I've only taken a few small steps in blogging from my
end and haven't started actually having the students access it because
it's the beginning of our semester and they have to jump through a few
technical hoops before they can use the Internet in our district, but I
envision it as a tool for students to keep in touch with the class and
do small assignments/exercises from home. For those interested in
seeing what I've done so far the blog is located at
http://www.pacoimaesl.blogspot.com/ The one comment that you'll see
there is from a classmate in one of my classes for the Masters Program
in Educational Technology that I'm currently working on (It was in that
class that I just learned about eblogger and blogs as a tool for
education).

In any case, I'd like to hear more from others who have experimented (or
moved past experimentation to full implementation) with blogs and ESL
instruction.
