NIFL Technology Colleagues,

A colleague recently requested information about a course outline or
syllabus for an Introduction to Computers for ESOL, a very basic
computer literacy course that could be used with all levels.

In response, I have developed a new area of the Adult Literacy
Education Wiki. It draws on messages posted here, the NIFL Special
Collection on Technology Training, and other resources.

You will find it at

	http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/AleTechnologyESOLComputerIntro

If you know of other resources which address this request, and which
are not already listed on the wiki, please let me know or add them into
the wiki yourself.

Also, if you would like to add to other parts of the wiki, please do.
There are many questions listed at

	http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/AleTechnologyQuestions

which are begging for responses from practitioner professional wisdom
and/or research.

If you would like more information about the ALE wiki and how to
register (it's free, but you have to register to post)
go to:

	http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/ALEFAQ

and
