The libraries in Gila County (Globe-Miami, Arizona) are sharing distance
learning software available from the local adult education program and the
public utilizes the computers that were donated by Gateway several years
ago. Students can use the computers for 1 hour at a time and the librarians
have been oriented to the software so they know how it works and encourage
people to use it.

Hi! I was wondering how any library based literacy programs are integrating
technology at the libraries (ie - computers for general public, making it
accessible for adult learners). I am interested on hearing about the
collaborations that exist between the libraries and the literacy programs to
make utilizing library technology more friendly for adult learners.

Thanks!
