Great suggestion. This site has to be one of the very best out there
for its full use of the technology of the Web to help learners in their
langauge learning. If others are not familiar with it, please take a
look it even if you are not interested in the "Learning to use a search
engine."

I'm not sure what level your students are at but you can take a look at
The 
Learning Edge http://thewclc.ca/edge - and then click on Issue 3. That
issue 
has an artilce called "Learning to use a search engine." The Learning
Edge 
has been developed specifically for adult literacy learners.
