NIFL-Technology Colleagues,

On the NIFL-Technology list, and elsewhere, we have had discussions
about new technologies that are or might be useful to adult
learners. Some of these technologies are hardware; some are
software. So far, most involve computers or hand-held devices.

Many of the postings here on new technologies have been assembled in
one place, in the Technology area of the Adult Literacy Education
(ALE) Wiki, so that you -- and others - can easily find them. Take a
look. See if your postings are there. (If not, perhaps you want to
add them -- on a wiki, you can easily write or copy and paste in
text.)

The NIFL-Technology list -- where lively discussions take place and
new information is posted -- and the Technology area of the ALE Wiki
can work hand-in-hand. The ALE Wiki pages are an easy-to-use archive
of some of the discussions which take place here, with accompanying
questions and answers, resources and reference to research, and an
ALE Wiki technology glossary. The ALE Wiki is an independent,
volunteer project.

I urge you to visit and post to the ALE Wiki. For more information
about the ALE Wiki and how to post there, go to:
